14 miles.... is that it?
This weekend we had trouble co-ordinating diaries so trained in two groups, one on Saturday , one on Sunday. This weeks goal was 14 miles.
Mark and I ran Saturday morning. If you live local our route headed out of Warsash to the Holiday Inn, down the A27 until Redlands Lane, on to Newgate Lane, right past the airfield to Stubbington , back to a Titchfield, down in to Hook Village and back along Fleet End and Dibles Road. You have to do this with someone else, as the conversation takes your mind off how far you’ve run and how many hills you have run up ( was that another hill Mark? ) . We got to the 14 miles and were deciding if we should walk the rest of the way to the village....we both decided that we would be spotted walking so we carried on running! Longest run ever completed... think we are all a bit wary of the increasing distance. This is as much a mental game as it is a physical one. We so appreciate the toots and waves...and the continuing support for this great charity. This is tough for all of us...but we are doing this to raise as much as we can...your support is so appreciated
